The Golden Log is a portrait of the people and their folk stories from Neuquén, a territory in northern Argentinian Patagonia. Through the peaks and valleys of the impressive Cordillera del Viento, we meet some of its indigenous inhabitants, cattle herders (gauchos), and gold prospectors. Marcelina Aguilera, Ananias Retamal, Felipe Mendez, and Conradino Contreras take us on a journey through their stories and experiences, sharing the history, myths, and rituals of these lands.
